Does anyone know if there is any relationship between Alltec and a company that used to be around a few years ago called Ashcombe Distributors?

Funny you shouls say that. I have been wondering the same thing.

As the machine colours are the same, and they both operate from a farm site.

Wow that brings back memories. My first ever professional machine was an Ashcombe elite with the powerbrush, ( powerful 60 psi pump ! ). In fact I still have one of their old brochures which I 'am flicking through now. The Altec machines are very similar to the Ashcombe models.
Still have the Elite drivalet II gathering dust in the garage and a carpet manual written by Lloyd Owens.

One of the 1st things Robert Saunders will tell you is the only thing in common with Lloyd Owen and Ashcombe is that they come from the same part of the country.
