M-Power™ Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner

https://www.worldofclean.co.uk/m-power/

In very simple terms, it is an advanced, plant-derived, detergent and enzyme-free cleaning agent that breaks down soils and micro-organisms at a submolecular level. It is eco-friendly in production, transportation, use and disposal. All this yet it out-performs most conventional cleaning products.

So, two products, what’s the difference?

You can still buy the original M-Power above and use it at the great 1:120 dilution rate.

If you want the same cleaning ability but with added benefit of virus protection, choose M-Power+ with a different formulation & 1:50 dilution rate.

Directions for use:

Both products can be used on carpets, upholstery and hard surfaces. Always pre-test the carpet, fabric or surface before cleaning.

Carpet & upholstery cleaning:

Spray enough M-Power down to thoroughly dampen all fibres. Allow a 10 minute dwell period, during which agitation may be used to increase the soil fragmentation.

In cases of heavy soiling/traffic lanes, additional agitation may be required and/or following the initial spray, over-spray the heavily soiled area a second time using approximately 25% of the original amount sprayed. Extract.

Pre-spraying:

Original M-Power

  • Dilute 8.3ml per 1 litre with warm water (1:120) – you may find a syringe is useful for measuring.

M-Power+ (EN 14476 approved)

  • Dilute 20ml per 1 litre with warm water (1:50)

In-line sprayers:

Original M-Power

  • Dilute 66ml per 1 litre of warm water (1:8 dilution). Adjust the sprayer to 1:4 for heavily soiled areas.

M-Power+ (EN 14476 approved)

  • Dilute 160ml per 1 litre of warm water (1:8 dilution). Adjust the sprayer to 1:4 for heavily soiled areas.

Bonnet Cleaning:

  • Lightly pre-spray carpet & agitate with a Floormac or rotary brush, allow a dwell of 10 minutes.

  • Moisten the bonnet with M-power and clean with an even overlapping motion. When the bonnet becomes soiled, rinse and re-wet with M-power.

In tank as a rinse:

  • M-Power can also be added to the clean tank of your machine at 8ml per litre (1:120). The residual continuing effect of rinsing with M-Power will help to combat unwanted odours & stains after you have left the property.

Fogging:

  • M-Power+ can be used in fogging machines diluted at 1:50.

Protect Nano – Fabric & Carpet Stain Protection

https://www.worldofclean.co.uk/protect-nano-protector/

Prevent permanent & unsightly stains before they even happen! Easy to apply stain protection for common household fabrics & carpets.

Protect Nano is an advanced fabric & carpet stain protector, it contains a water based solution of fluoro-chemical nano-particles which cures in air to form a water and oil repellent barrier on porous surfaces.

Unlike most water-based fluoro-chemicals, Protect Nano does not require high temperature curing to give optimum oil and water repellency.

Protect Nano is designed to give lasting stain protection on carpets, fabrics, stone, tiles and other porous surfaces (not suitable for silk). Suitable training in its use forms part of our training courses.

Durability:

Protect Nano protects against penetration by oil or water based contaminants making the cleaning of surfaces very easy – most protected spills can simply be wiped or mopped away.

The protection is long lasting but will be reduced over time depending on wear, traffic and cleaning regime. Aggressive cleaners should not be required on Protect Nano, protected surfaces and their use will reduce the lifetime of the protective effects.

Directions for use:

Dilution:

  • 1:1  –  Dilute 1 litre of Protect Nano with 1 litre of water.

Application:

Apply using a pressure sprayer, similar to a garden type sprayer using a 500050 T-Jet fan type nozzle to a clean surface.

  • Pre-dampen fabrics with a light spray of plain water if the item has not been cleaned recently or is dry.

  • Apply 1 coat east to west, after 10 minutes apply a second coat north to south – DO NOT BRUSH IN, leave to dry.

  • Apply evenly at the rate of 50-100ml per m2, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Only spray in conditions of good ventilation. The spray operator and anyone in the vicinity should avoid inhalation of the spray mist and suitable protective masks are recommended.

Drying time will be longer than with solvent based sprays, this can be accelerated by the use of zone heating and forced ventilation.
