2025 commercial rates

Hello ,

Just wondering if the commercial cleaner cost per hour is still around £25 (excluding consumables) or has it gone up slightly in recent years.

In 2023 for instance £25 per hr was seen as the norm but with minimum wage increasing and costs increasing each year has it had an impact on commercial cleaning rates? Based in the south east for price reference.

It’s usually area dependent
Domestic and commercial cleaners
is anything from £20-£30 per hour
we charge our customers £25 per hour for general weekly cleaning..
London and southeast would be higher rates £25-£40
Never heard of anyone charging
£50 per hour for commercial cleaning unless doing a builders clean or specialised cleaning work..

to be fair both darren and aston make valid points,only you can decide on the price for your specific business model and area. i dont base my prices on yours but in essence has prices for things gone up year on year,um YES. its basic supply and demand. your sector may have become more competitive but this is a good thing as what makes you different and why should people pay you more than the next man. personally i dont charge per hour,i visit and my experience tells me how long as i dont want earn less if it doesnt take as long as last visit for what ever reason. for example one office i do is tiny but i charge £45 and it takes me 45 mins so £60 per hour,are my regulars going pay that,NO.

student accommodation
recrntly been offered 10 blocks 6to 8 bedrooms per block
as i normally work by myself.asked another company they'd like to come in and help.
their price was £25 an hour each
£30 material each block
Parking charges
as it was 40 minutes drive there would be £25 extra each member of staff

each block as two ovens in

this was totally rejected they contacted 3 companies and they were the same price'i got the contact to clean the ovens. on the day of the clean .they had found some cleaners £15 an hour.don't know how they're making any money
