Amtico stain.

Morning just turnt up to do a amtico strip and seal and have this mark in front of door customer doesn’t no what it is as they just moved in if the strip doesn’t remove does anyone have any ideas?

Is it where the light in the door comes through?
Or a rug/entrance mat been over the flooring off gassing?

Possibly but it looks to far from the door to of been from an entrance mat ? Seems to be behind where the mat would be

Best off to ask customer. It may be the sun where it rises and sets. Is it an east facing house?

No north, I’ve thought all of the above they have just moved in and don’t know what was there before is there maybe anything we can do to lessen the marking/staining

Any underfloor heating does the radiator pipes run under that area if so it's from overheating definately been a rug or matt there

Thanks, explained to customer and she was more than happy and said they had the same marks on the carpet upstairs and said there was little mats upstairs when viewing so I’ll put it down to that.

Hi, that's definitely caused by the backing material (probably a soft non slip type) from an entrance mat.

Hello, we have a stain on a white amtico floor that seems to have been caused by the rubber backed runner in front of a glass door (same shape when you lift the runner up) Is there anyway to get rid of it? The stain is yellowy and the floor is white. Thank you
