Morning all, any thoughts on the preferred method for cleaning 100% cotton rugs/runners.
Possibly have one small rug and a couple of runners to do early next week.
The rug in particular is quite heavily stained .
    Trying to avoid shrinkage/discolouring etc.
    Cheers,Steve.

Steven, without being able to inspect the rug we cannot properly advise on the treatment of stains other than to advise that you closely follow your training, starting with all the appropriate pre-tests.

Cotton rugs as such present no particular problems, though vagrant dyes on 'tourist' rugs are far from uncommon and of course being a celulostic fibre browning is always a possibility but easily avoided.
