Faux Leather Sofa Clean

Been asked by a client to do a clean on 2 sofas covered in faux leather. Just wondered what the consensus of opinion is for the best results. I have my process just thought I’d see if there are any hints and tips I can pick up. This is a sample of the material I’m talking about. Same sofa different lighting in the pics. Thanks Guys2605126052

I spray with spm agitate and extract

Come up mint every time

I try to dry them whilst there as it difficult to see the completed results when still damp

Most faux leathers these days are flocked/bonded microfibres and cleaned as above.

But it is also possible to be a vinyl type of plastic fabric which you would clean by hand.

Do your survey and proceed accordingly.

Safe and happy cleaning:smile:

Polyamides, Polyesters, Polypropelene, and PolyVinylChlorides are all types of plastic.
The first 2 and sometimes the 3rd are microfiber fabric, used to simulate Suede. AKA Faux Leather.
PVC is likely to be called Leatherette.
There are of course exceptions.
