Gas bottle storage

Hi all,
I want to switch from electric to gas for my dip tank and I just wanted to ask those who use gas, how do you carry the gas in your van?

I’ve read that it’s advised to use a gas locker, but elsewhere I’ve read that some people just use ratchet straps to hold the bottle.

My van (Fiat Doblo) has a bulkhead, with 2 side and rear doors, so I haven’t been able to ascertain whether I need to make a hole for ventilation.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Get lpg gas tanks much cheaper in the long run. I have two all boxed in. Fletner in the roof.

Propane is heavier than air, therefore a floor vent is required if carrying bottles. I useca gas locker which holds 2 x 6kg bottles, with a floor vent and a vented door. I also have a Flettner in the roof, however it's not required for gas, it's there to prevent condensation.
