Noticed it is now pretty much back to normal, little scrappy at the start of the month but now fine, think whatever impact air fryers were going to have has peaked and we dont actually need to worry about them. Agreed?

Fully booked since October I only work 3 days a week 3 ovens a day. January fully booked and have approx £1500 of work booked in for February I haven't noticed a dip.

I’ve not noticed an impact from air friers, it’s the new George Forman that will get tossed into a cupboard somewhere

@Mark Bolam I looked you up on Google, very hard to find if I'm honest. You need to put your company into more directories - free index, yelp etc. I don't know if you have a Facebook business page but it doesn't show up on Google.

I'm wondering if your company name is putting people off too? I see what you've tried to do but Mr Muscular Cleaning Services is a bit intense compared to names like "ovenwiz" or "oven fresh".

If you specialise in oven cleaning then say so with your business name. "Top Marks Oven Cleaning" springs to mind and is friendly.

Your company doesn't show up if people search "Mr Muscular Oven Cleaning" which could be why repeats are low.

You're losing business by turning away commercial, range, and hide & slide ovens. A good range clean can pay £120+, better than travelling between jobs for £40 a time.

Don't be afraid to charge more. £60 is more than normal these days.

A simple logo with stylish colours can really improve the image of your business too.

I made this one in 2 minutes on logo.com which is very simple to use and allows you to download lots of different variations for use in online publishing and social media.

That's fair enough 🙂 I have arthritis in my hip so have had to turn bigger jobs down myself.

Mark, with respect I think the name of your business is a huge mistake. Anyone in your area who wants an oven cleaned will google "oven cleaner -name of city" The only reason i am called "liverpool oven cleaning" is because that is the number one search put into google for people who want their oven cleaned in liverpool. I also have an end of tenancy cleaning business, "liverpool end of tenancy cleaning" named after the most used search request in my city. Both business are at the top of the first page on google in liverpool. It's really quite simple, someone will google "liverpool oven cleaner" which is the title at the top of my website, google sees it as an exact match and pulls my site up, people then click on and stay on my site, which tells google this is what they were searching for and over the course of a couple months pulls my site to the top of google.
You have to ask yourself, will people be more likely to google, "oven cleaner and location" or "Mr musular cleaning services" .

Liverpools a massive area which is good for Rolf. If you live in a less built up/populated area your business name may need a tweak to include surrounding areas. I use DEVON as part of my business name. Only problem is I occasionally have people ringing up that live 40+ miles away.
