Help / advice with this flooring

Hi all, after any advice/experience on this floor i need clean/strip and seal. I believe it to be karndean/amtico but may stand corrected. It is for a shop floor and i think where they had 'fittings/stands' in place they simply kept applying top-coats over as the distinct differences wouldnt budge with the softer approach of white pads/sts etc. I upped he anti to an abrasive pad with weak-medium stripper and it started to budge but this was with the TM40. Would a red pad on my 17" rotary do a more efficient job and speed up process, possibly going to black pad on worse borders. I know the owner and they are happy for me to attempt anything as next step is rip floor up and replace, they hope to open in next 2-3 weeks. There is also a corner of shop (curved bit) that is different and wonder if there are any clever options/products to make the 2 finishes become more uniform (not perfect just not as obvious) Any advice would be greatly received. I also have rotowash but think rotary/pads seems best plan? just need ideas of products to use as the build up is quite extensive as can see from pics

excuse my grammar,im old and lazy

Use a stripping solution at 5:1 dilution allow a good dwell time rotary with a green pad don't use black it will scratch the floor. Keep stripping it until all the old polish is removed any corners or tight areas will have to be done by hand, a paint scraper may help if the polish is particularly thick.
Make sure to rinse neutralise and dry the floor thoroughly before you apply any seal and use a matt finish.

Often depends on the stripper Jamie we have a very much stronger version available for stubborn floors, I wouldn't go to the black pad as already mentioned you are likely to damage the flooring, using the stronger stripper and a longer dwell period will help to break down the old seal

Thanks guys, just as I hoped,I started with soft approach and quickly realised I need to up the anti within damage limitations, stripper I used was close to 5:1 anyhow but hoping Nick's solution will do job better,
