Hi i have got an expensive rug with a big red wine stain. Have tried twice with Stain 2 Go, No luck.Any ideas.

Remember your training!

A bleaching agent should not be the first treatment for red wine - it is something to try when all else fails.

Possibly Xtreme Spotter or Final Phase at the appropriate dilution may have enabled easy removal but the change to the stain chemistry already caused means that it is no longer a wine stain.

As JB says, remember your training. You treat stains cold. Heat can set the stain.

This is a Pakistan rug. The pile is 100% wool and the foundation is 100% cotton.
It has very little second-hand value.
