M-Power Spotter and blot or carefully rinse you could try M-Power spotter and then use a dampened towel and gently iron the towel to cause heat transfer and absorb the chocolate stain or treat the stain turn the rug upside down and extract from the back drawing the spillage through the rug then leave upside down and dry, so any wicking will move to the back of the rug and not the face.

Just don't promise complete removal, if you get it out it's a bonus. I'd be using stainbreak carefully if it's difficult as a last resort. Hit it from the back & front, no need to worry about wicking then

I would also be careful cleaning that particular brand of Rugs.

I cleaned one a couple of years ago and I think I must’ve got it too wet.

And the edges went all wrinkly and never laid flat again.

I had to buy a replacement similar sort of price to the price tag on that one.
