It's not a problem on this type of leather as long as the shop have displayed samples like this on the shop floor.
It's an individual item that tells the history of the animal and some people like its uniqueness.
Normally this grade of leather would be used for pigment coated leather but if people begin to accept this style then it will sell. It does not affect the quality of the leather.
The more they do to leather the cheaper it gets - all this covered on the course.
It's all about personal preference.
