Has anyone tried hydro H202 or fusion clean on a mattress? I only ask because a similar encap product was once recommended on a training course I attended and that works well for me.
Think I'd refer back to post 4 as even though Fusion Clean is inert once dry they're not the sort of chemicals I'd like that close to me as,shock horror, I may sweat at night & reactivate them?!
I really don't like doing mattresses as often I just cant shift some of the stains despite de browning and longer dwell times. The customers are mostly pleased but I'm not. To be fair I also find doing them a bit too yukky as we know what those stains are !!!
Also people don't want to pay my modest fees, I had one woman today who expected me to get in the van drive to her house and clean a double that she herself said was covered in stains but said my £75 was much more than she was expecting. She can take the p*Spot Solve out of her own mattress !!
Recently I happen to see from a video people using dry sponge ( like the dry powder) on mattress. Agitate and then vacuum up. Anyone used this method before?
Due to the absorbent nature of mattresses, perspiration and other liquid contaminants do not sit on the surface where VLM cleaning could effectively remove them.
Aside for any staining it is important to remove dead skin, kill and remove housemite and their corpses and droppings and again only the depth of penetration obtainable by wet cleaning can be effective enough to produceanything more that a cosmetic improvement.
