Micro marble

I've a friend who has an off-white micro marble fireplace. They set a damp glass vase on it and now have a difficult to see ring mark. I was going to try STS 20ml/l and a microfibre cloth to gently wipe it off. Anything different about micro marble to consider?

It’s possible that cleaning alone will not remove this mark. It may require polishing.

Wow. That's a terrible stain. However will they live with it polish will probably deal with that properly.

Look's like micro concrete. ie concrete polished to look like marble. the only action would be to diamond polish to restore cleaning isn't an option as it is porous.

Done some homework and It’s 95% crushed marble and 5% Resin
So I would still treat as marble and polish

Yes, I'd looked at the website brochure, crushed marble as you say Nick. I'll try soft diamond pad, angle drill and weak STS, crossing myself first it'll be fine.
