Old Bosch Door Split?

Just a punt, has anyone split the door on an old Bosch. I know how to get the inner panel off but there seemed to be a whole load of parts inside including a 3rd piece of glass and the inner glass is held in place by the inner panel so drops away on opening with a material seal so didn't risk it. It's the type with the moulded sides urghh

Personally anything that old old i tell customers I will not split the door.

I do this to cover myself. If anything goes wrong you will not ne able to get any parts and cause yourself a whole lot of trouble.

Just not worth the risk. I no it does not answer your question but just my opinion.
