I do it frequently. If done correctly it's a great tool for eradicating odours in property. I've also recently used it on a particularly smelly rug which continued to smell even after being immersion cleaned twice. Ozone took care of it though.
It's not to be messed with though so be sure to handle it safely.
Yes I gather it can cause inflammation of the lungs / is harmful to all organic substances in high concentrations so rooms should be treated and left to vent before going back inside its something I was looking in to offering is there any training for it ? Seeing many places selling equipment but not and training.
