Plug in immersion heater.

I do the odd oven clean in addition to my extraction cleaning business. I don't have the need for an oven dip tank but am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a plug in immersion heater. Seen plenty on Amazon and eBay but they seem to look very cheap and possibly unsafe.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen tanks with a regular hot water tank immersion heater fitted in the side. It’s earthed, has its own adjustable thermostat. Can be left on all the time and is usually available from b&q for a few pounds.

Hi Andy, I use one all the time as most of my work is in Liverpool city center. I do get mine from ebay and they do the job but are not well made, i do between 700-800 ovens per year and will go through about 10 per year. a lot of times in town i am forced to park a 100 meters from my job and then go through the lobby and up the lift so more than 1 trip would be a nightmare just a lakeland tray and my heater and i am good to go.

That's sounds like bloody hard graft. Glad I don't have too do that.

Thanks all 👍. Mathew, is that the one you use? With a RCD I can't see me killing myself 🤷🏻
