I’ve not done a rug course, only cleaned a few rugs here and there and generally shy away from them a little bit. If there anything else that is required of you to properly clean a rug other than flipping, beating, extra vaccing etc?

    Hi Chris
Rugs are as you sort of say can be somewhat problematic to the untrained or less knowledgeable as they can bite you on the bottom if you don't respect them
True, 90% of rugs you seem to spend longer vacuuming, back dusting & beating them than you actually do when rinsing them
Just test, test, test, each colour & always with the product you choose to use in the dilution you intend using it
Never take it for granted that because you've easily cleaned 100 of one type of rug that the next one you clean won't bleed as soon as you look at it or that nasty Chinese rug with latex filler that you've cleaned 100 times won't suddenly decide to drop all of its latex in one heap
Just respect each & every one & like any pro, approach every one as an unknown
