Sky Vac 85 - Gutter Attachments

Hi All,

I have agreed to buy a good second hand Sky Vac 85 (side cyclone) for a very good price, all that is needed is a hose and some vac poles with attachments. I have been looking at the Sky Vac attachments and they seem ridiculously expensive! Does anyone have any alternative setups that uses the Sky Vac which would save a bit of money on buying an attachments kit that fits? I have a carbon fibre pole set although I would like to keep this for the internal high level cleaning if possible.

It will be mainly domestic size guttering

If you want to keep a setup for internal high level cleaning fair enough.

Can you use 1 set for gutters and for internal cleaning, possibly.

Why not have the vac,hose and adapt your poles to fit with. Reducer cuff etc.

any 51mm hose will do, spinaclean directly, ebay, or there are a few other gutter vac suppliers

As long as your poles are cleaned, the same set is fine for interior and exterior. I do gutters full time and mine get used for both regularly. If you really wanted budget poles then get an aerospace aluminium set from GVS. Good luck stretching over conservatories and the like with them though. It’s really heavy going. Your body will thank you long term for using carbon poles.
The simplest solution would be to clean your poles after every use.
Gutter attachments are not cheap but they literally last years.

I have been offered the chance to buy the whole setup for one of these , including all the internal cleaning stuff.

Do you ever need to use the 3 motors dan ?

If i did get it I'd need to get a new generator..
