Starting out.

Currently do property maintenance for letting agents. I want to diversify for multiple reasons. So want to Start getting into EoT cleaning services. I only currently work within the rental sector and would like stay specific to this area.
I'm midlands based, are there any courses online or practical or anyone that does consultancy. I need to know what equipment to use, what materials and solutions etc. How to degrease, delimescale, how to clean the dirtiest of toilets etc.
Obviously I have a reputation with the maintenance so don't want to jeopardise this, so want to have the knowledge before offering the service. Would you use bark or something to do some trail runs before using my maintenance leads?
Once I have this nailed I would then need to learn oven and appliance cleaning and steam cleaning for carpets etc.
Am I going the right way about this? Many thanks.

firstly I would say have you a business plan for this in terms of how many properties you deal with and more importantly your budget to be the man that does everything, vehicle etc may be better to sub jobs out

I would at the start be just doing the odd few then building from there. In terms of a business plan I would set up a cleaning company that only deals with the rental sector. The company will sit along side a few others maintenance, development, investment companies within a group structure.
I have a van plus another spare van already. Investment wise that is well covered. But I'm hesitant to shell out until I have the cleaning knowledge etc.

I suppose at the start I would sub out appliance and carpet cleaning until I've definitely got the trade coming my way. I plan on employing someone once I can secure 5 EoTs a week.
Maintenance wise I get access to alot of domestic and some commercial units.

Why only stay in the rental sector estate / letting agents are notorious late payers as well as wanting the cheapest quote , so if you quote XX and someone else quotes X then your history no loyalty with estate / letting agent

a good relationship with local agents can pay very good dividends, less advertising less travelling, empty properties, usually advance warning or feasible timeframe to be do in,id do them all day every day if could, get loads from my local guy average 350-500 for good day, love the whole transformation from bad to good, very satisfying work and pays well

Because that is what my maintenance work sector is. I like the simplicity and ease of it. Most agent pay within the month you may get the odd one being paid a few month late but that's just hiw it goes. I make sure I have plenty of cashflow to allow for late payment.
I'm hoping eventually I can be a one stop shop.

So any advice on learning how to clean, products to use, what equipment etc.

That's what I'm hoping, I prefer empty properties. I do house clearances, maintenance, refurbishment, garden tidying so why not cleaning too?
I have 4 agents on my books but don't want to offer an additional service without the know how. Would a 2-3bed EoT take you a full day? Do you steam carpets and clean ovens etc?
