Wool and Silk Rug

I've been asked to clean this rug. It's been cleaned before but the owner doesn't know how they cleaned it. It's a Naliana handwoven wool and silk tibetan rug. It didn't look like there was any obvious silk in it (not very reflective) but I've read elsewhere not to clean wool and silk rugs with water. I've got Solutions dry carpet cleaning powder and Fusion Clean so I wonder if that's the best and safest combination to use. 20230815_171239[1].jpg 20230815_171301[2].jpg

Whether this rug was wool and silk or wool and Art Silk (viscose) I would pass it on to a specialist rug spa. It looks to have a substantial pile density and I suspect the main issue will not be the cleaning but the drying

Thanks - just seen your replies but in the meantime I've cleaned it. Customer said it had been wet cleaned before but I kept the rinse moisture low (used carpet wand) to avoid any problems. I also mentioned the limitations of this method compared to a rug spa. I used a microsplitter spotter to get rid of a number of stains on the rug before treating with MPower and gave it a good dwell. Overall a satisfactory result.
