advice wanted

Anyone got any advice on what portable would be best for me to buy. The main use will be on hotel carpet and upholstery and it will need to be under £1500.00

to be honest you will be strugling to buy a NEW portable with heat that will provide a good spec.
you will need a minimum of 2 3 stage vacs 100psi pump & some kind of heater eg (inline/imersion type)

what length hose runs will you need to run????
Is the 1500.00 to inc vat??????
Do you already have tools for the unit eg(upholstery)

What do you think of the diamond back would it be any good on hotel corridor.i.e. how far could i run hose without losing too much power?

never had one,but i belive their a good unit.
hose wise i should think that you can run 30-40 metres,when i was using long hose runs with a portable i used a power head-scrubba type unit.This seamed to work better than using a wand alone.

Chris I would seriously look at the Raptor that was for sale just before Christmas if its still available. I brought the Kleenrite version which is the same machine and i wish i got one alot earlier. In my oppinion its probably the best portable you can buy I know its slightly over your budget but dont be like me and keep making do, as Lee and others will tell you try and buy the best then you wont be always wanting better
