After purchasing a new brush head for my pole
Can anyone recommend a good everyday head

So many options Steve - depends on many factors too your main technique ? Rinse on rinse off ? High work low work ? Monthly jobs - quarterly even yearly jobs ? Many like gardiners super lite range for day to cleans we like a dual trim for scrubbing you won't go far wrong with one of those - you want a mono filament bristle if you rinse on the glass - more so for work at Height . Flocked are also good for scrubbing but you need to rinse off the glass . A lot of our work is deep cleans so we use 4 jetted duel trims and a higher flow . Unger n lites are good but heavy compared to a super light . Gardiners website covers all the options and sizes above . We're currently using /testing a couple from cleaning spot the 4 jet duel trims and they,re decent too . A good idea may be to get a duel trim and a flocked brush then your covered for different jobs ?

Is that the best method.
Would you recommend a one day course on pole cleaning
And while I'm at it lol
A customer has ask if I can clean her rendering which is going green
What method and what product can you recommend .

Just domestic advice - not that we do much these days - 1st cleans scrub frames and glass top to bot - then re clean glass only and on future cleans miss the vents if there are any or you will get dirty run marks ! As above that will be ok ,Future cleans are Mutch faster . Render - any brush will do fine but a flocked will best imo - we have separate brushes for jobs like that as they get mankie . Same process scrub and rince off working down and you ll be fine . Commercial tends to be same process but depending on frequency and style of Windows you may miss very top frames or clean 2 or 3 times frames glass frames glass then just glass - I'm sure you will soon pick up whats needed when . Training wise a couple of days out with a good window cleaner is worth more than the window cleaning nvq . Basic Heath and safety applies at all times - cones for trip hazards - carbon fibre pole not to be used neAr power lines etc and so on ! .

Shame your soo far away were on a big job all this week you could of had a day or two training . Costly though keeping me in bacon sandwiches lol !

Always happy to help - we all had to learn at some point - if it's bad I'd use some diluted ubik or Tfr but we mainly carry ubik - spray it up leave for a little bit scrub then scrub and rinse - should come up a treat .
If you want to re use a cladding clean brush for window clean run it under a tap for a bit and get the foam out then soak it in a bucket of pure over night and it should be ok again .

I no I've asked this question before
Got asked to clean green off domestic rendering today
First question what would you price it's a 4 bed detached
Second question when you say spray with diluted ubick do you get your ladders out and spray the walls
Then scrubb with your pole and brush then rinse with pure water
Sorry for all the questions
Any help would be appreciated

Ah... Defo leave ladders on van or price goes way up lol -we'd use back pack sprayer or back pac with a hose lock connector to spray ubik or the like on through pole -regardless if it's a house or say a factory same process to clean them . and then scrub it in - rinse / brush down .
Price wise with out. Pic at least I can't tell exactly what we'd charge say guttering and facia on 4 sides around 150 plus vat - but go with what you'd like for it with a bit on top ! Get Windows and gutters to do while your there and turn it in to a 250 quid job ! And go steady awaytill it's spot on . Dry applicator on a pole will easily get those few black spots that pool in awkward places once your done . Hope that helps

If I wanted to spray the ubik through my pole and cladding brush how would I go about that
As I don't want it to interfere with my pure water tank
And as I've only got the one pole fr my window cleaning
Would you advise to get another pole for this type of work

Battery sprayer Steve as above with a connector for your pole . Use same pole may be get a brush for just cladding jobs and keep your good one lean for just Windows .

Hi - I'm on a site today and don't have any in this van . What the lable says Steve should be on the back ? Think 50 ml to 5 ltr is about rite don't get it all over your hands it saps the oils out of the skin ! Come and finish these Windows off for us and I'll show you how to do the cladding

Last of a set of five buildings that takes a week to do - I'm less than impressive towards the end of that particular site lol must be getting old . Get some photos Steve when u do your cladding job ( I always forget ) makes good bef and after for web site face book Twitter etc . Upvc / cony roofs and the like .

For your school quote ? None at all (cost wise )with out seeing a pic or google map to cost - otherwise schools tend to be cleaned once a year to 3 times a year . Best to get them in and out if pos - more money for once a year clean and discount if more often . Make sure it's worth doing as a lot are only as loyal as there budget and have all your h and s in order risk assess method stats insurance Heath and safety policy and so forth . And provide it wether they ask or not . More than happy to help you cost site if you send me a link /google map if your stuck .
