Hi guy
I've just joined the forum today. I have to say I'm very impressed,compared to other forums out there.
I'm a part time window cleaner from northern Ireland. I use a wfp system. I've had the run for a few years now. I'm pretty confident when pricing domestic jobs, but don't know where to start when it comes to commercial properties. I'm afraid to undervalue the job and to overprice and lose it. Is there a pricing structure ???

Hi Mark, I think the price varies, lots of different factors so I cant help you with pricing but this is a great tool for working out the sqm and how to price it and you can bookmark the page in your phone so if your ever doing a commercial job you can work out the size and get a price in seconds.

you just put in the length in ft, change the price to sqm and put in what you charge per sqm, and hit calculate and it works it out in seconds :wink:.

Hi mark most of our work is commercial , so going forward I would say you should as standard with every quote supply risk
And method statements and your insurance as a minimum as most will expect this .There are no fixed prices / standard charges that work in my opinion - all buildings are different, higher or awkward / harder or easier - so price accordingly - if you expect to earn for example - 400 pounds a day and a commercial job will by your estimate take just under 2 days? quote 800 plus any addition expenses . 3 or 4 days cleaning 6 th floor windows should be more than 3 or4 days cleaning ground And 1st it's harder takes longer the equipment cost more and so on . If you get stuck I'd be happy to help and give you a guide price for similar buildings if you have a pic via email or what ever suits - we don't cover Ireland so your safe from our reach lol .

Hi Mark , and welcome. I don't clean windows myself but it is nice to see someone from my neck of the woods on the forum. I live in Dunfanaghy which is barely an hours drive from you.
