Coshh & Method Statements

I have a quote to put together for the local branch of a large national company. There are multiple offices, corridors and a large boardroom to include in the quote.

How to do the job etc is not a problem, but, I have explained due to H&S considerations (far too many people wandering about) this job can/should only be done out of hours, which they are happy with. My question is:- as the job is to be out of hours would a full Coshh and Method Statement still be required or would an abbreviated version be sufficient along with Data Safety Sheets?

Adrian,

I think the answer to that is that if even one person is present on the premises at any time during the clean, or there is any possibility of someone entering, the same H&S considerations must come into play - which gives little scope for abbreviation of the paperwork.

Thanks John, anyone want to write a full COSHH and Method statement?

Thanks again John. I had taken alook at all the posts re: COSHH etc prior to posting my question. I was just being lazy and trying to avoid more paperwork. Rather go and clean a nest of Vipers than sit doing paperwork. Oh well.
