Question about cleaning my car

I parked my car outside the garage last evening, and used a bissell spot cleaner over the seats..

The car was in a slightly shaded area, it being next to the garage, which wasn't ideal 'cos it doesn't get the most heat.. But it's a hot day.

I left the windows closed and came back the next day and it is dry..

But i'm wondering if that was the wrong method..

Maybe I should have left the windows slightly open?

Where would the water have gone with the windows closed?

I drove the car out this evening for 10 minutes with the windows open incase there was any moisture in the air inside the car. Though I don't know if that's a bit late and if the water has gone inside components of the car.

Also maybe like with clothes, for the car to be smelling freshest the windows have to be open a bit for it to air. Supposing you parked the car in the street, would you leave the window slightly open?

If it were not such a hot day, should I have put a plastic sheet over the seats and driven the car away from the garage away from any shade, and into a street, to get more sun, and with windows slightly open, left overnight?

Thanks

Could’ve probably done with leaving the windows open to allow airflow and quicker drying times.

a cars not purely sealed anyway, note how quick a car gets hot (or cold in winter) when your fans are turned off and you stay sat in it for 5 minutes.
The moisture will have just evaporated and most will have left the vehicle into the atmosphere.
Modern vehicles electrics are pretty well sealed anyways so the remnants of a car seat drying shouldn’t effect anything.

Thanks.. Also,

What do you do if you want to clean your car without making a lot of noise for the neighbours... Is there anywhere you can drive to and park it and plug the cleaning machine in?

And then what do you do re security of your car, and leaving the window open. Is there any security risk in leaving windows a bit open? (Not open enough for an arm to get through, but a bit open eg enough for some fingers to fit in).?

stick a work shirt on and hope they want theirs doing?

Only you know the answer to that. Aas you know car crime is super high so I guess it depends on what car you have. I've never had a problem leaving windows down an inch.
But even if you leave them closed they would break in for a biscuit.

I'm wondering if there is anywhere it's possible to park and plug something in and pay for the electricity? (besides adjacent to one's own garage).
