There's been a lot of talk recently about the xline rinse bar being ok/good and the gardiner overspray bar getting slated. So I decided to make my own simply because I like making things. It's still getting tested but I love it so far.
If you like a bit of diy - I got sick of rectus fixing breaking or getting stuck and the plastic on off taps dropping to bits so bought a load of these about 1.50 each eBay and they come with a 8 mm hose tail each end a couple of protectaballs and they lasting ages ( about as good as I get on diy mind lol . )
Hi , eBay 8 mm ball valve they have 1/4 inch thread you can order from china 99 p each I got ten to try . The link is to same as I bought but U.K. Seller abit dearer but no where near as expensive or fidly as rectus fittings failing . We have microbire 8 mm hose to a short 12mm hose lock as they're cheap and easy to find if you break one on a job or some one drives over it ! Very happy so far and me and the lads give them some hammer .Ebay Link:www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181430411039
Daniel , do you find your rinse bar better than say 4 jets? . We've been thinking of trying them out gardiners no good as fans don't give the flow so probs x line or reach it ones we'd try - some 60 foot work we need a good flocked brush for the scrubbing but rinsing offs not practicle. So this looks great ! Must find time to get one tested
Never used 4 jets mate so I can't compare but I find it gives a brilliant rinse. In the video above the brush is attached to a water genie backpack so only 60 psi but it works much better at 80 psi. I don't fancy the x line but that constructor brush looks brilliant.
Ah good to know thank you will look at them for sure , Pretty sure Geoff beimble diyed most of these new products that are just hitting the marked now but years ago just never patiented them ! He did the first trolley , first modular pole , first rinse bar 4 jets , light weight brush etc he'd be rich of those alone - although his electric golf cart trolley and hospital wheel chair didn't seem to catch on lol http://robinson-solutions.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/q-with-electric-window-cleaner-jeff.html?m=1
