Had a great result with SPM Lemon bust today on some mildly soiled polypropylene, was really impressed with the results.

I have just booked in another job for Wednesday evening, which is a office in a car repair garage. Heavy soiling of grease and oil on a man made fiber. Thinking solution Nitro as choice of product, unless there are any other recommendations?

I used spm last week in an engineering office and it came up a treat same as above full of oil and grease
Looked mint when finished

No time constraints as such, so if using the SPM, do I allow extra time to dwell then on oil or grease?

Also Nick if my order hasn't been dispatched yet, I need to add more to it please, will call the office Tuesday morning.

The key is in the preparation, pre vac, pre-spray and then plenty of agitation,

I think your order left on Friday Adam but cannot check until in the office.

Best regards

I can't remember the last time S.P.M was beaten on a job or where I had to reach for another product.

I use SPM on all man made and as a last resort problem solver on wool rinsed of course with final phase.

I orders 2.5ltrs of nitro when it first came out ad only really used it to trial it. Great fast working product, very good on draft marks but SPM for me.

Your right since getting spm in my last order I've used it on 90% of jobs .

I forgot what a great product it really is ,when used at right temp and given adequate agitation .

I always use final phase in the rinse as it seems to act as a defoamer .

what do you suggest is the right temperature.
I normally boil from kettle 3 litres of boiling water and normally 10 to 15 minutes to job and it works for me

Heat is the catalyst for the oxygenator. When the micro-bubbles make the water look milky that's probably fine but any evidence of fizzing means that you are wasting the power of the oxygenator. What produces the best result is for the mixture to enter the fibre bundles and penetrate surface scratches and indentations/scales prior to release of the oxygen. Otherwise it is like almost flattening a battery before fitting to a torch - the torch will work at reduced brightness but for a shortened time.

best to add spm to water after filling the bucket, as opposed to blasting high pressure tap water into it until its fizzing.

as for the original question, i'd try something citrus based personally if its a greasy carpet.
