One of my regular jobs if with my friends bus company i clean all the internal windows on the buses. Today the water was freezing as soon a s the water hit the windows.Would anti freeze or screen wash work to stop this happening or is there some thing else i could try. With out causing any damage to the rubber seals..:cold:

Hi Mat you could try ipa or alcohol in the water but not sure if it would cause any problems with the rubber seals on the buses, but i have used it on car windows with care and seems to be ok and works ok

No screenwash. it streaks. Also u will have to add a lot isopropanol to stop it freezing. Best to use a microfibre cloth in warm pure water to clean and then dry off with dry micro cloth. Its quick and easy two handed operation

Heated water!
A company near us now does this & the staff love it!
Small boiler type thing attached to their in van tank, gently heats the water which results in:
no frozen pipes
no frozen windows
chemical reduction
