I think you got of lightly. A £200
up is bearable, I've sean rugs costing £3000. If you had ruined one of them it would have spoilt your day!!
If it was me I'd sort it out this weekend and then forget about it, In the past when I've made mistakes what I found worse was all the worry it created until it was sorted out.
give her the cash, apoligies then forget about it.
