Customers chair we restored this week. Much loved chair that is 60 years old. Our brief was to repair the cracks on the seating and arms, to stop it getting worse, but not to make it look dark and new. This caused a minor problem as the leather filler is white and would of shown through. So using LTT 3 in 1 Leather filler we was able to mix in some coloured pigment and then fill in the deep cracks. Then when the filler was set we then lightly sanded and then apply a thin skin over the area. We was very pleased with the way it worked.
Returned the chair yesterday to a delighted customer, we even came in under budget, but the customer insisted he paid what was estimated.
Personally I would of liked to have gone a little bit darker.
