Neff Slide In Doors

Hi all

Can you part the glass on the neff pull down slide in doors ?
Ive been oven cleaning for 3 months now, I have come across 3 of the these types of neff ovens with this type of door but lucky for me they did not need to be parted .

Thank you .

If you can get the door off then the glass just pops out like a normal Neff door. I've had problems taking some doors out in the past though so I tend to refuse them now...

As Mike says ... taking them off is generally the easy bit, putting them back on can be a faff ... once you've done one or two it will be easy enough, also ask the owner if they have the manual, it shows how to do it in there or Paul Pantony put up pictures a short time back ...if you do a search .... I like doing them, usual german stuff comes up a treat

Done 2. 1st was easy and i thought whats the big deal?

2nd was a nightmare. After 10 years oven cleaning the 2nd one made me think for the first time "i might be in trouble here" if i go to a job and i get another will refuse to dismantle or remove door.

one issue i came across was the full width cross bar slots, you need to lift up the top handle a touch to catch these and if this has been missed when you replace the door it can push this to the back of the oven, if you didnt know you could easilly think it was part of the mechanism, the door will look like its on but then drop off once opened. once you realise what the crossbars for, slide your arm into back of the oven and bring it forward you can see a couple of notches where it marries up to the other parts of the slide in mechanism. As @adrian sandercock said it can be a nightmare if you dont realise what has actually happened.
still like them though
