Make the zeta the heart of your detailing setup; it provides instant hot water for wash buckets, interior cleaning and extraction machines. Use fewer chemicals as hot water cuts through grease and dirt quicker, more effectively than cold water.

I thought heat didn't matter? or is that just on fabrics carpets etc. :thinking:Nice Farrari red though

Hi Andy

Theres alway one!! :tounge:

I have revisited the page and adjusted the wording, we have some customers who seem to feel the have to have heat, so in an affort to meet this demand we think we have the made the ideal heated add on available, you also have to take into consideration the other things it may add to the services you provide.

Yes Jim I agree but you havent sen the size of our warehouse!!

only oking that was taken in forn of a small garage, more pics to follow ( smaller ones)

Best regards

Nick

That's an excellent point Mr Evans:clap:. Not picking holes Nick but that's been my biggest problem with the Scorp and the Jag. Removing heat removes part of the "pie". Now.......you're going to love me:dodge:..........if you can just get the Jag and the Zeta to creep into a dark corner of the warehouse and mate........I'll buy one of the off spring:2beer:

:joker: was only teasing and having just taken delivery of a Jag I hope heat won't be an issue but if you combined the two machines you would surely have the power of a TM  bet that gets a response!!

But could I have saved a few quid and brought one of these Farrari's and coupled it to my little 100psi twin vac portyand had a portable with a 1700 psi pump and heat:thinking:

all for just £1k Other things though like auto feed and auto dump coupled with this would make an awesome hybrid.

My only question is, what is the flow rate of the zeta? Obviously big pumps in extraction machines are low pressure/high flow, whereas in a pressure washer it's the other way round - low flow with high psi

In carpet cleaning it's not so much the pressure but the amount of water you flush through the carpet which makes the system work better. And obviously the ability to recover whatever you put down.

Well used my Jag for the first time, really impressed by the power and pick up!! tied up with this zeta, would be truly amazing. But didn't Zeta used to be a football pools thing:giggle:

I've done a few jobs with the Zeta/Jag mix so far and if anyone tells me you don't need heat, I don't believe you!

On one of the jobs I'd pre-sprayed with SPM and left it to dwell a good 20 minutes, I cold water extracted it to see if there was a difference and although I was getting a good result, when I went back over with the hot water, it made a whole lot of difference.

I'm still waiting for someone to take my offer up of having a go with the new set up because as they say, a picture paints a thousand words....

Hi Neil

To answer your question about flow... the Zeta is available in two variates...
1500 psi & 8.5 litres per min
1750 psi & 7.5 litres per min

Its all very well having lots of flow if you have an extraction machine which can cope with being able to extract as much or more than what is being fed.
I own a Zeta 120 (120bar 7.5) and coupled with my jag it works a treat, in fact today i wound the pressure up to 600 psi which sounds a lot but in reality the water flow is only about 4 litres per minute.
I find this the perfect pressure to be working at especially on commercial carpets.

Also i used one of Nicks clear head upholstery tools to clean some very grubby stairs, again this worked a treat at the above pressure and i could see the extracted dirt and was amazed how only 2 dry passes were needed before no more water was being drawn from the carpet!

Apart from a warm/ hot pre-spray YOU DON'T NEED HEAT! there ya go, said it. All you need to do is to come out with a real pro & he'll show you :tounge:
The pie to which you refer can be altered & will have no bearing upon the quality of the clean so long as the 1 piece missing or reduced is made up by one or more of the other parts.

I have used heat in the past (even as a little experiment before I updated my machine) and heat will often make the job quicker but I still got out the marks and soil, with my warm prespray & cold rinse. My customers are paying a premium for me to clean to the best of my ability and not to a timetable so I will remain cold until my customer base changes :chuffed:
