Advice on a pricing model for sparkle cleans

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m very new to the cleaning business and I’ve just been asked to provide my cost structure for a sparkle clean. I’ve done a bit of research, but I would really appreciate some advice from those of you with more experience.

I was thinking to base it on an hourly rate with estimates for how long I think it'll take depending on the size of the property (1 bed, 2 bed etc), and then an additional fixed price for equipment on top. I would make it clear that the quote is based on an estimate and if more/less time is required the price is adjusted accordingly. In my mind, this simplifies for me without having to worry about measurements of the home.

The area I will work is in the city centre and will mostly be luxury apartments of a similar size, hence my simplified approach to pricing.
Also, should I expect to have to deep clean carpets on a sparkle clean? From what I've already seen, it's advisable to get a special hoover for dust for this, as opposed to a normal domestic hoover.

Would you also please advise on how long I can expect a sparkle clean to take? I have carried out End of Tenancy cleans and I was assuming it would probably take about the same amount of time and effort.

Thanks so much in advance for your help. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions

We offer 3 different pricing options
End of tenancy deep cleans/builders clean/standard regular domestic cleaning.
None Include carpet cleaning its charged as an extra service.
But it all depends on what the customer requires.
we would usually quote with and without carpet cleaning.
Domestic rate for house cleaning £25/£35
Extras would include carpets/windows hard floor deep cleaning.
We have a waiting list for our cleaners
And we do charge the higher end
but we keep our circle small with just
3 cleaners who have been with us since 2012..

That's a good response from Darren. I would also add do some research with the opposition see what other companies charge locally
