I have used many products to remove limescale since perhaps 2005.Anyway......Harpic is the best and very powerful but it will discolour tabs especially cheaply made.....Ikea etc.
Viakal is for me No.2 very good product.
However over the years I have used many aggressive products that affected my skin and I decided to go for Eco friendly range.
I get the limescale remover and most of my products from them.Very happy with the quality of products.
Also great for shower screens etc.
Use non scratch sponge and limescale remover.....later rinse with water or wet microfiber cloth and buff it dry again with microfiber cloth.
However not sure if the above named products will perfectly on heavily limescale stained toilets. Also using Nitrile powder free gloves as great if you have sensitive skin to latex.
