Following Uncle Ken's training and his recommendation for vaccing stairs, I've just taken delivery of this little beauty...

Sooo much easier than lugging the Kirby around the stairs or even the Sebo - picked up some serious soil on first use and is just about a full stair width wide.

It's even got its own little extension hose for getting in the corners. Refurb off fleabay.

That will do an acceptable job - just don't use the same one on upholstery unless you have a second brush roll and change in between.

PS.

One day Lee I'll take a photo of my vacuum cleaner collection, then you'll see what a real gadget collector is!

I do love a gadget Lee! I'm very pleased with this one. :yaa:

I've not got my measure to hand, Tony, but here's a pic... it's a very useable length

Must have burnt out 5-10 of those and the hunter ones. Great for the misses to tinker around the house with and selling to customers but I've blown up every one I've owned in a daily work environment.

Spent some real money in the end on something that lasted.

Spoil sport, Mark!

10???!!!!! Did you not learn after the first 9 or so??!!

Well, if they're good enough for Ken and the Gorgeous one, they're good enough for me!

I shall give it a whirl and if it cant hack it, give it to the ex!

I used to sell em to customers so bought and went though loads of the variants to see if any were better. In the end through my own findings and customers that were not happy I stopped selling them.

Whatever you use make sure the brush is electric powered, makes a huge difference over the turbo brushes that are air powered, they're toys as well results wise. Many years ago a strange bearded man showed me how to build a dust downer over sykpe with a powered head, by far the best way for results with a jag plugged in the end.

A good tub vac with a powered head is also up there. Another favourite I have is a hand held rechargeable vax with a powered head, that's still going after years of abuse. Try everything though is my advise.

My aladins cave is also exentesive

I have the one World of Clean used to sell, I think Mark Roberts knows the one.

It's ok but much prefer the crevice tool on the sebo. Mainly used for upholstery but want a minitex for agitation now.

Neil,

That is the Hunter. Not as powerful as the others mentioned but HEPPA filtered, very light and at only! £25 good value. I find mine usefull when cleaning a lot of curtains - easy on the arm!
