Superglue On Leather Suite

Evening all, I'm off to look at a chums new leather suite in the next couple of days. He sat on and burst a tube of glue in his pocket.
Wife apparently mildly vexed ! I've done the NCCA intro to leather course and have a box of goodies from Judy at LTT. I'm keen to work with more leather items but the opportunity has not presented itself.
So, what can I expect, what can I suggest and offer to remedy the situation.
Sorry I have no more information to hand. Any and all advice would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

Hard to say without seeing it, is it aniline, pigmented etc, will make a difference. You may be lucky and be able to remove it with normal leather cleaning agents or ink remover, alcohol etc but...

Glue removal normally removes the surface lacquer and pigment, as does the above if you're not careful.

Try not to make it worse! It's most likely repairable with restoration techniques, get someone in who knows how to repair and re-colour if so.

Phone LTT or Buffalo, they both have a network of tech's around the UK that can repair this type of thing.

Thanks Mark, spoke to my mate this morning, he says he's picked the glue off AND the top layer/coating of the leather ! So hopefully I'll get to watch a professional at work on a restoration.
