Faux Leather Sofa Clean

Been asked by a client to do a clean on 2 sofas covered in faux leather. Just wondered what the consensus of opinion is for the best results. I have my process just thought I’d see if there are any hints and tips I can pick up. This is a sample of the material I’m talking about. Same sofa different lighting in the pics. Thanks Guys

I spray with spm agitate and extract

Come up mint every time

I try to dry them whilst there as it difficult to see the completed results when still damp

MP or Fabric 8 or SPM lots of agitation, extract, towel, brush.

The old fashioned type not the caustic type.

Had great results on these with Fusion 8 and Pure Clean and of course my personal elbow grease.

Most faux leathers these days are flocked/bonded microfibres and cleaned as above.

But it is also possible to be a vinyl type of plastic fabric which you would clean by hand.

Do your survey and proceed accordingly.

Polyamides, Polyesters, Polypropelene, and PolyVinylChlorides are all types of plastic.
The first 2 and sometimes the 3rd are microfiber fabric, used to simulate Suede. AKA Faux Leather.
PVC is likely to be called Leatherette.
There are of course exceptions.

Vegan could be cork, cotton, or paper, but usually PVC or Polyurethane.
