Hi gang I need a bit of advice on builders cleans and sparkle cleaning.
I have the chance of doing 50 houses in the summer for both builders and sparkle.

Iv got a test job to do at the end of the month.

The job at the end of the month is builders clean
4 bedroom, 1 bathroom,2 en suites, kitchen dinner livingroom cloakroom.
It's set over 3 floors.

Sparkle clean as above

Windows are being done by a window cleaner

Im interested in how much to charge I know it's a how long is a piece of string question but Iv only done EOT cleaning and I charge around £20 for that and I only do a few a month.

Thanks for your help

Is that £20 per hour I presume? They will want a discount, you will need staff, and they will never be ready to be cleaned. Never has anything ever been more sure of!
Really can't see you getting them at £20 per hour off a house builder but good if you do. Put your pride in and see what they say but if they have shopped around someone will have offered them a lot lower cost per hour.
Windows is a big thing that you don't have to do at least.

Thanks Neil yes £20 per hour.
Iv seen the house I'm to do I think it will take 10-11 man hours to clean. It's the last one on the plot the others are all lived in now.
If I do this well I have the chance of doing 50 in the summer

Good luck
Really hard work
Sparkles cleans everything has to be spotless a lot of buffing of chrome lol
We charge around the £12-£15 per hour mark
But I do live in the West Country

Hi Thomas.
Search my 'Builders cleans' in the search box.
Going back a few years now, but learnt a lot, good comments from all above and definitely a plus having no windows.
Get a written addendum on your quote signed by the Site Manager that ANY work completed and signed off that you have done, will be charged for again on repeat call out after snagging for the umpteenth time!.
That doesn't come included in the Sparkle clean!

One thing I have seen up here is larger cleaning companies are putting plastic wraps around toilets and stickers on toilet roll which has the company name on them and Sanitised by, thought that was a great idea considering the amount of people that come in after the clean and use the toilet.

I'm doing these cleans at the moment, the lady is a pain in the bum!
I love the idea of the toilet tape thing.
I can see me telling the customer where to go as she is more trouble than the money is worth.

I did a job for a now defunct building company in Brum. They had done a development of 120 flats with one on the top of the nine floor building conversion. In effect it was a very posh bungalow on the flat roof which sold for 1 1/4 million. When the site agent saw who had bought it he realised it was the same female who ad given him gyp on the previous devellopment.
He handed his notice and walked.
