Ooooo, nasty parents!! :spank: I let my 10 year old watch it, she thinks it's funny, however most of the innuendos go straight over her head :smile:
It's a very factual programme though Adi, honest it is & it's on my level :tounge:

Unfortuantely Trev CB, it's probably not so much reducing the wood you burn you'd nee to worry about, but the amount of wood you'll need to build your ark, what with all the rain we're getting, which will increase from what I've reading.

To add to this, as our winters will average being warmer & wetter, insects etc. that wouldn't have thrived here, being killed off by our winters, will start to populate the UK, such as the malaria carrying mosquito.

I think Jim makes a good point, compared to the energy used by planes, ships and factories, cities etc as a whole, a TM is pretty tame.

Err no Mr P. Think you'll find it was Tony who started it and then that Jim Neal bloke carried it on. Not sure quite how we got from global warming to your brain, whoops sorry, singularity's, but here we are. Been an interesting thread all the same. And when you realize it was started by someone making mischief :wave:

When I was apprenticed, back in the early 60s, ( that's 1960s not 1860s) I helped build a machine for CERN that analysed photographic plates. Last year when the new dubrie under the Alps was switched on some geezer was interviewed on the telly. He was standing in front of the same machine. I would think the computer is a tad smaller now, the original was as big as a house.

Adi, I moaned about my lot watching The Big Bang Theory, I sat down and gave it a chance and it's actually one of my favourite things now - you're daughter will come to no harm watching that.

Nerdy humour....great stuff.

Hi All

Yes and the small few normal knockers, the invoice that has been posted on CIU made out to some one else, at a completely different address, not Joe Brown, of course there could a good reason for this (which could easily have been mentioned at an early stage)

At the end of the day the post was seen to be questionable, and as can clearly be seen, and even when advise was given Joe seemed to be intent on confrontation, he is able to reply if he chooses or indeed pick up the phone.

I have been trying to reply Nick, but my posts do not appear to have made it into public domain.
(each post was up for moderation and then disappeared)

If you take another look at the dispatch name and address you will see it was sent out too me. This was mentioned in the post on another forum. The payment was made by a friend of mine who assists with financing my business.

What saddened me the most was the fact that all my replies In an attempt to resolve this misunderstanding where moderated and then deleted, rather than being displayed on this forum, or being replied too.

I look forward to a reply. I did not recieve one from the email I sent you unfortunatly. Did you receive it ok?
