:helpme: Hi all

I am fairly new to leather and will be doing the LTT course hopefully next year, to expand my services. I have cleaned a few carpets for a client of mine and she has noticed that her leather armchair has developed some marks, she cannot get off. I said I would post it here to get some answers to help her out, any suggestions?

Ta muchly

What about the Upload a File button which is the middle tab of three when you starting to reply.
Upload a File allows you to select a file on your computer.

Re the edit button
I think I am right to say that the edit button is only available for a short period of time after you post a thread or a reply

Hi Joe

I don't have the upload a file tab..... arrrghhhhhh. Nor do I have the ediy button, maybe I am not allowed to have it.. boo hoo

Hi Cat based in southampton not to far from you, if you want me to take a look or offer advice no problem.

Hi Steve are you a specialist in leather through LTT? Because if you are that may be helpful. I will try and get the pictures up... but definitely don't have the upload a file button!!!

Cat,

The board software allows me to test the permissions of any member,. So I will see everything you would (except PMs) and no more. When testing as you the edit box looks like this:

ScreenShot002.webp

(But without the red writing)

The "Upload a File button can be seen next to "Post Reply"

The box is blacked out but it does allow me to click on it and it does bring up the browse through my files.

Dont understand why is is blacked out on my computer, have tried to refresh and change the options in preferences between classic view and the other, but still shows solid black.

Jon

I think I know why, it may be a glitch in the software, in plain style I can see it, but in sky style i can't...?

Cat,

The "Upload a File" button is not blacked out, it is simply not the default option of the three. Move your cursor over each of the three buttons in turn and you will see the background colour of the button turns blue.

The software seems to work identically in all styles - is you computer female by any chance?

Haha yes Jon it does exactly as you say in classic, mode but in sky mode the middle button is blacked out.

My Dell XPS M1730 high powered gaming laptop must be female then lol.

The button blacks out as soon as I try and type a reply, strange....

Well Cat, that is as black as a very black thing!

I have tried on two of my computers, using Firefox and Internet Explorer but cannot duplicate your problem in any style

Does anyone else have this problem?

It certainly is blackish Jon... I have tried it on Internet Explorer and Firefox and I get it all the time.... the black out thingy that is!
