Leather Care & Maintenance

Hi All,

I am in the process of having my leather corner sofa re-coloured and had part of it back today.

The chap that done it for me is LTT trained and has done a very good job.

I asked if there is a product I can purchase to help maintain / protect my newly coloured sofa and he replied "its been treated, any spills just clean it with a damp white terry towel"

Is this the case or can I purchase something from LTT to protect this myself over the next coming months and to help clean up any spills as I have just had a newborn baby...! Im thinking spilt milk etc..

Thanks

Chris

cheers Mark that was my plan to protect it again as I only have his word that he's done it as I didn't ask him to do it when he quoted me. Unless protection is something thats done standard when you re-colour..?

It will have had a clear lacquer 'protection' to protect the new pigment but thats different to the type of protection you're referring to, which isn't applied as a matter of course. Ultra Leather Protect from LTT is what you need, which is in the kit Mark has mentioned.
Regards
Jules

It will have been sealed which is different to protection.
Sealing takes place after dye is applied, protection takes place after cleaning.
They are two different processes.

Ideally you can protect too, but you would wait 24 hours for the seal to cure first. A revisit would be necessary.
