Swimming Pool Cleaning Help.

Hi all, we run a domestic cleaning company but have been asked by one of our customers to clean the indoor swimming pool area.
The pool is rented out for classes 4 times a week, they want it done after each of theses classes. The client has asked for just the tiled area around to pool to be mopped and dryed along with the changing room and toilet.
The client used to have another lady clean the area and advised it takes roughly an hour. The issue we have is what price should he be charging for this.
Any advise would be great.

If it's a simple mop job then what do you currently charge for say 1.5 hours work?
Might be different if you needed a rotary scrub to complete it but from your brief it sounds as though they merely want a regular tickle job?

We clean the house for them currently, 4 hours a week and the pool just needs cleaning after each class has been ready for the next days class.
I was unsure if it should be charged more as it’s technically a business clean so should this be charged at a business rate? Need to check insurance also as I’m not sure if cleaning pool areas would be covered.

True, hadn't thought about any insurance issue, always worth a quick phone call
Also product choice would be important as you can't use anything that could have a reaction with the pool's cleaning system/ chemicals or cause an issue with sensitive bare feet/ open cuts
The few times I've done this I used a mild STS solution on one (hard tiles) & M Power on another (rubberised crumb stuff)
Maybe also worth asking who to invoice for this as it may be a company name unless it's all a little under the radar?!
